TPG takes over ALS

The TNT Post Group (TPG) with headquarters in Amsterdam (Netherlands) is continuing its expansion course in Europe. TPG has now considerably strengthened its market position in Italy with the recent takeover of the Italian company Advance Logistics Services (ALS). According to the Netherlands-based company, ALS is among the leading warehousing logistics firms in Italy, generating annual revenues of about EUR 209 million. ALS has been growing by about 23% per year since 1997 and now employs a workforce of more than 440 people. With its purchase of ALS, the TPG group is a substantially stronger position in Italy. ALS is active in the electrical, telecommunications, consumer goods and clothing industries.
