Dubious courier moves

In June 2001, China Post, the state-owned postal giant in China, is attempting to quash competition in express mail services. Regardless of whether they are domestic or international, business or private, it insists it has the right to control such express mail. The State Post Bureau has told other operators, including a joint venture between DHL International and Sinotrans, and United Parcel Service, to remain out of this market.
