ATSG agrees five-year DHL deal

Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) has signed a new five-year agreement with DHL. The deal includes ATSG subsidiary ABX Air, which will continue to fly Boeing 767 aircraft to support DHL’s international business from the US until 2015.

An option is in place to extend the agreement to 2020.

The new agreement will see ATSG reimbursed on a primarily fixed-price basis, rather than cost-plus.

The second agreement covers the leasing of 13 Boeing 767s from ATSG subsidiary Cargo Aircraft Management, with all aircraft to be in place by April 2011.
