TPG to acquire leading Domestic Express company of Thailand

TPG announced today the acquisition of 51% of T.E.I., the leading domestic express company of Thailand. T.E.I. offers both express and logistics services nationwide through its extensive road and air network. The acquisition will help TPG to further enhance its services for its express customers while establishing a solid platform for its rapidly expanding logistics services in the region.

T.E.I. employs 90 staff and operates through three own and 13 agent locations across the country handling approximately 2800 consignments per week. It has a fleet of approximately 50 vehicles and operates its own track & trace system.

The remaining 49% is scheduled to be acquired by the end of August.
