CFH looks to grow public sector adoption of hybrid mail

The company has been awarded a Buying Solutions framework agreement for the first time. Buying Solutions is the national procurement partner for all UK public services and is part of the Efficiency and Reform Group within the Cabinet Office.

The four year appointment means that CFH is now able to supply hybrid mail services for public sector contracts throughout the UK.

CFH has been achieving rapid growth for Docmail since its launch two years ago. Already an established print and mail supplier to the public sector, CFH recorded a production volume of over three million documents during this year’s main council tax billing period in March alone, increasing its customer base by over a third.  Earlier this year it achieved Connecting for Health status, the assurance standard for NHS customers.

A recent study undertaken by CFH on the production and delivery of Westminster MPs’ constituency correspondence, estimated that the company could save the public purse up to half a million pounds each year.

CFH Docmail hybrid mail combines on-line technology, with Royal Mail delivery.  Mailings – whether a single letter or a personalised mailing to thousands – are written and created on-line by the originator, sent electronically to Docmail where they are printed and delivered via CFH’s own Downstream Access (DSA) facility.
