UK Mail teams up with voluntary body

UK Mail has entered a partnership with the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO). The agreement will see the NCVO have access UK Mail’s ‘desktop-to-doormat’ mailing service, imail.

The solution will aid voluntary organisations with fundraising and marketing, as well as day to day mailings in a cost effective and environmentally friendly way.

imail is a complete print, production and mailing application for all general office, marketing and fundraising mailings. Users can create an online account and send mailings from their desktop to doormat in two days (a next day service is also available for urgent mailings).

Richard Williams, director of capacity building & business development at NCVO, said: “At a time when many organisations are facing cuts, there is more need than ever to consider measures for saving time and money when carrying out tasks. imail is an excellent service that can help organisations achieve both of these goals. A simple letter can be printed, sealed in an envelope and posted for less than the price of a second class stamp.  We are confident that this service will add real value.”

Guy Buswell, CEO of UK Mail said: “We are thrilled to have forged this partnership with the NCVO, which will allow us to effectively support the voluntary sector via the optimisation of their mailing requirements. Not only does imail deliver substantial cost savings, efficiency improvements and increased sales activity, it also simultaneously cuts the carbon footprint of mailing activity by reducing a letter’s delivery mileage. With green, as well as cost, considerations coming high up most voluntary organisations’ agendas, this is most definitely an added advantage.”
