Yodel chosen by Hughes Electrical

UK-based delivery firm Yodel has been chosen by retailer Hughes Electrical for delivery of all of its online sales. The deal will see Hughes utilise the full range of Yodel’s service options, including its two-man delivery service.

Yodel will carry 125,000 deliveries each year for Hughes.

Simon Cox, Hughes Direct’s general manager said: “We had heard lots of positive things about Yodel so decided to invite them to tender for our business.

“Since we started working with Yodel, thousands upon thousands of parcels have now been delivered on our behalf and we know that we have made the right choice.”

Yodel chief executive Jonathan Smith said: “The multiple delivery options we offer mean that we can meet the range of products they send to their customers every day across the country.”

Yodel is sponsoring the Mail & Express Delivery Show on 7 April 2011 in London.
