TNT Post UK launches returnable postcard for consumer feedback
TNT Post UK has launched a new postcard product that seeks to make it easy for a business to receive quick feedback from consumers or customers through the mail. The Easy Response Card is a normal postcard where the addressee’s delivery details are on a label that can be easily removed by the recipient for the item to be mailed back with a reply.
Along with the return address featuring underneath the removable label, the postcard also comes with a pre-printed stamp to make it convenient for a consumer to return it.
TNT Post UK, part of Dutch postal operator PostNL, said the key to the product was its simplicity.
The company said the new product would allow companies to contact customers in a “smart and efficient” manner, with the customer able to respond with minimal effort.
The small size of the postcard also means that survey questions would have to be short and understood at a glance.

TNT Post UK suggested one use for the service could be for utility customers to send in meter readings, or for businesses to validate addresses for their customers.
Nick Wells, chief executive at TNT Post UK, said: “It’s the convenience that will prompt customers to take action and respond to your offer or inquiry. With the ERC, there’s no long-on, no telephone call, no stamp purchase – it couldn’t be simpler.”
TNT Post UK describes itself as the second largest postal company operating in the UK, managing 200m items each month. The company’s mail clients include businesses in the banking, utilities, leisure and media sectors, including telecoms giant BT and energy company Centrica.
