Introducing “Posteitaliane for you”, a new range of doorstep postal services

Poste Italiane is moving as close to its consumers as possible with “Posteitaliane for you” (Posteitaliane per te), a new range of post office services brought to the doorstep, making simple transactions more convenient, such as payment of bills, sending mail and parcels, the receipt of registered mail and buying catalogue products. With “Posteitaliane for you” the Italian postal operator has put in place an innovative service that provides consumers with post office services, such as bill payment, without having to go to the post office, and using Postamat or Postepay at no additional cost.

Customers can send mail and parcels, receive personalised services and buy catalogue products from PosteShop. In addition, customers can obtain the PosteMobile sim card at home, by calling the PosteMobile customer services or contacting the PosteMobile.it website.

Thanks to the “electronic postman”, equipped with handheld POS and printer, the customer may book the “Posteitaliane for you” service via the call center and choose a preferred time, day and place where they will be met by the postman, in the afternoon time slot Monday through Friday from 14h to 20h, and Saturday morning from 8h to 14h.

It will always be the postman that delivers the customer’s personal PosteMobile sim card. The customer pays the postman and there is no additional charge or commission.

The “Posteitaliane for you” is currently running in the towns of Imperia, San Remo, Savona, La Spezia and Genoa.

“The goal of the Poste Italiane” – said Antonio Cuzzocrea, the Head of Logistics for the North West region, – “is to offer an increasingly demanding and diverse a range of personalized services, developed, designed around the needs of individual customers who increasingly want to be able to choose when and how to carry out financial transactions in security, payment of utility bills, or obtain access to postal services.”

With “PosteItaliane for you” – Cuzzocrea continues – we wanted to once again offer an innovative service to simplify your every day life.”
