Poczta Polska mulling parcel locker service

State-owned postal operator Poczta Polska will launch its own parcel locker service. Other players considering such a move are Amazon and DHL.

We are considering various options for parcel collections and lockers go well with our strategy,” Sławomir Żurawski from Poczta Polska told the newspaper. The company is planning to add non-standart locations to its delivery network, possibly in cooperation with retail networks and gasoline stations.
Currently Poland has 1,100 parcel lockers, all of them belonging to InPost. That company has said it would expand the capacity of its existing delivery network.
