Majestic Wine and Naked Wines launch Click & Collect service

Majestic Wine and Naked Wines have launched a Click & Collect service which will give Naked Wines’ ‘Angel’ customers the option of collecting their online wine purchases free of charge from Majestic stores across the UK. The two companies have been following a strategy of “sharing complementary strengths” since Majestic bought Naked Wines in April.

They began trialling a Click and Collect option in 22 Majestic stores – and the successful feedback has prompted them to roll out the service to all 213 Majestic Wine stores across the UK.

For no extra charge, Naked Wines’ customers can now collect their delivery from any of Majestic’s stores, which will hold Naked Wines’ customers wine for up to five days. Alternatively, customers can still opt for home delivery. In both cases, customers choose their preferred delivery day.

Naked Wines’ stock will remain separate from Majestic’s, so wines that have been “crowd funded” the 150,000 Naked Wines “Angels” will still be exclusively available to them.
