Iran and Azerbaijan looking to extend postal cooperation

Iran and Azerbaijan are looking to extend their cooperation in the postal services sector, according to local sources. Mehdi Mohtashami, the head of the secretariat of the Azerbaijan-Iran intergovernmental commission, has been quoted by a source in Azerbaijan as saying: “Currently, cooperation covers areas such as post sending, as well as freight and cargo transportation. The same source said that the two countries may look at working together on the provision of postal services to businesses in border areas.
