GoGoVan could be launching in South Korea next month

Hong Kong-based GoGoVan – which provides a P2P platform for vans – could be set to launch its services in the South Korean market next month, according to local sources. The company had announced its intention to start operating in South Korea earlier this year, according to a story posted by The Korea Herald today (21 August), but had been delaying its entry while it fine tuned its Korean-language app.

The Korea Herald quoted a “source close to the matter” as saying that GoGoVan had been spurred in action by rumours that Korean Internet giant Daum Kakao ” has a plan to enter goods delivery market”.

GoGoVan was launched in Hong Kong in 2013 and has since moved into China, Taiwan and Singapore
