C.H. Robinson appoints Jeroen Eijsink as European CEO

C.H. Robinson Worldwide has appointed Jeroen Eijsink as President of C.H. Robinson Europe. Eijsink will report to President and Chief Executive Officer John Wiehoff.

Eijsink previously served as CEO of DHL Freight Germany where he was responsible for the road and rail transport activities for DHL in Germany. He also served as CEO of DHL Freight Benelux and United Kingdom. Prior to joining Deutsche Post DHL, Eijsink held various management positions at Siemens in Germany.

C.H. Robinson has offered road transport and freight forwarding services in Europe since 1993.

Over the past three years, the company has stepped up its activities in Europe by adding 18 offices (taking the total to 52) and doubled its headcount to over 1,000 customer-focused employees.
