TTPost’s Baldeosingh calls for Caribbean nations to work together for an efficient regional mail system

Reynold Baldeosingh, the Managing Director of the Trinidad and Tobago Postal Corporation (TTPost), has urged the Caribbean nations to work together to build a mail system that can provide delivery within two days once items have entered the region. Speaking at the 18th annual Caribbean Postal Union (CPU) conference currently taking place in the British Virgin Islands (BV), Baldeosingh, the Secretary General of the CPU, called for an “efficient multi-modal transportation among the islands”.

Baldeosingh said that stakeholders must “move this region from being a series of islands separated by sea to a series of cities separated by air and sea… so that when mail gets into the Caribbean, within two days it can be delivered.”
