Etsy starts same-day delivery pilot in New York

Etsy has now started its “same-day or next-day delivery” service pilot in New York, working in partnership with Postmates. As reported by Post&Parcel last month, the service is called “Etsy ASAP”.

On its website, Etsy has announced that the “Etsy ASAP is available from participating sellers for buyers in Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn and Queens” and it has also listed all the New York ZIP codes covered.

Etsy also stressed: “Etsy ASAP is a prototype and only available for a small group of sellers at this time.”

The company added that Etsy ASAP is available to eligible buyers at a flat rate of $20, “regardless of the order’s contents or the destination of the order”.
