Doorman now live in Chicago

Doorman, the on-demand package delivery service, has started operating in Chicago. Essentially, Doorman offers a delivery forwarding service. Consumers buying goods online give the retailer their “personal Doorman shipping address”, which is a location in the local Doorman depot.

Doorman sends notifications when the parcels arrive and the consumers use the Doorman app to schedule delivery to their homes at a time which suits them. Doorman delivers from 6 pm to midnight with hourly scheduling, seven days a week.

As previously reported in Post&Parcel, Doorman also operates in its home town San Francisco, and plans to launch in New York City soon.
