Lazada reports record start for Grand Christmas Sale
Philippines-based e-commerce company Lazada has reported a record start to its three-day Grand Christmas Sale. Yesterday (10 December) marked the first day of the sale and Christmas shoppers bought over 150,000 items from the Lazada website and Lazada mobile app – which the company said was a 25% uplift from its sales last 11 November.
Lazada added that it offers an assortment of more than 1.2m products from over 4,500 merchants and 1,700 brands with discounts up to 95% off. Items that were quickly snapped up during the first day came from the Home & Living, Electronics, and Home Appliances categories.
Over 70 international and local brand partners officially joined the first day of the Grand Christmas Sale (www.lazada.com.ph/online-revolution).
