TransDirect partnering with ParcelPoint

Australian freight aggregator Transdirect has announced that its clients can now choose to have their parcels delivered to one of the local stores participating in the ParcelPoint network. In a statement issued today (14 December) TransDirect said: “Through our well established Australia wide multi carrier delivery network, Transdirect is well positioned to offer its 6,500 plus corporate client list the opportunity to take advantage of this initiative for the 2015 Christmas period. Transdirect has seen an increase of 350% in monthly bookings compared to the same time last year, and this growth has seen a dramatic increase in our customers requesting alternate delivery solutions.”

Transdirect co-founder Trent Alexander commented: “We have been delighted with our domestic growth over the last 8 years and we believe this network of convenient locations will assist in providing the delivery solutions our clients require.”

ParcelPoint set up its first pickup location in Pyrmont, Sydney in June 2011. The company has reported that it has established a national presence at 1,500+ local stores across Australia, partnering with 150+ major retailers as well as leading freight carriers.
