Amazon now offering monthly Prime subscription package
Amazon has ramped up its recruitment drive for Prime members, by offering a monthly subscription package. Customers in the US can now choose between the standard annual $99 deal (which equates to $8.25 a month) and a $10.99 monthly package.
Both these options include free two-day shipping and free same-day delivery in eligible areas, as well as the video and music streaming services.
There is also a third option: for $8.99 a month subscribers can sign up for the Prime Video service, which is just for the movies and TV shows.
