Wincanton wins contract with Total

Wincanton announced that it has been selected as the UK strategic supply chain partner for fuel provider Total, in a move to develop an “improved, customer-focused fuel distribution service.“
Wincanton already operated a third of Totals distribution and will now do all the work, collecting fuel from Totals terminals and delivering to its industrial customers and 1,250 petrol forecourts. The deal involves 330 employees at 15 depots across the UK. The contract, which began on 30 Sept, was won following a competitive tendering process.
