Europa launches new direct service to Slovenia, with onward Balkan connections

Europa Worldwide Group’s Road division has launched a new direct service to Slovenia, with onward connections through the Balkan States including Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Bosnia and Albania. The new operation – which is the company’s third new direct service to Europe so far this year – will run twice a week from Europa’s 1hub in Dartford. This follows the recent launch of a direct route to the Baltics and daily service to Salzburg earlier in the year.

A new partnership opportunity with InterEuropa Group – Slovenia’s leading supplier of complete logistic services in South-Eastern Europe –  will further increase the reach of Europa’s European footprint and improve its growing partner network whilst ensuring the best possible connectivity for its customers.

Operations Director of Europa Road, Dan Cook, added: “Our partnership with InterEuropa is set to be one of our most successful yet, with its strong Balkan network helping to provide our customers with the best possible service. The company’s ideal location of Ljubljana also provides the preferred and most logical injection point to serve the Balkan market place, an area with a less developed infrastructure and a greater need for expertise than some of our more developed markets, which gives us a massive opportunity to better serve this growing economy.”

Europa’s European expansion is part of the company plan for ten new road services launched throughout 2016. Currently, the company has 34 road routes across Europe, 18 of which already operate as daily services.
