CornerDrop click & collect at Whiteley Shopping Centre
The Hampshire-based Whiteley Shopping Centre will be offering shoppers a CornerDrop click & collect solution. Customers will be able to send their online deliveries, from any online retailer, to the centre for free.
Once customers have created an account at http://www.cornerdrop.com, they select Whiteley Shopping Centre. A unique CornerDrop parcel ID and pin number is created for every parcel to ensure security. Once the parcel arrives it can be collected within 7 days of delivery from the management office in Market Square.
CornerDrop founder, Andrew Lasota, said: “It shows great vision to bring together the online and bricks and mortar retailers together in this way. It means visitors get all the benefits of online retail at the shopping centre. No more wasting time sitting at home, everyone can now get their online purchase sent to Whiteley.”
Whiteley Centre Manager, Neil Carter, added: “Customers will be able to collect their parcels from 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm Saturday and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday.”
CornerDrop now operates over 1,100 local parcel drop locations across the UK.
CornerDrop has released its extensions for online retailers this month including Magento and Shopify. This new product means all online retailers can offer a click and collect solution to their customers (and their own physical stores) with a simple integration.
