Home delivery service launched in India

Indian expatriates can send non-dutiable items to India at competitive rates, following the launch here of a home delivery postal service recently.

The new service, named ‘EziBox’, will cover all parts of India, with delivery to major cities taking one week. Outside the major cities, delivery time is two weeks, said Kamal Hassan Mohammed, Manager of Safeenat Al Sahrah, a regional overland service provider and agent for Empost Courier Service.Items accepted will include clothes, stationery, gifts and food (desserts and sweets), among other things.

The service solely deals with non-dutiable items which fall under the rules and regulations of Indian Customs.
