In Japan, a new service will be introduced by the Central Japan Railway Co (also known as JR Tokai) in April 2003, allowing courier companies to send small packages or documents using shinkansen or bullet trains. The firm will offer 40 times of deliveries each days. The service will only available for stations between Shin-Osaka and Tokyo and would be expanded to Tokyo-Nagoya in the future.
