Glovo secures $5m funding

Barcelona-based on demand delivery startup Glovo has secured $5m in Series A funding. Investors taking part in the round included Antai Venture Builder, Spain’s Seaya Ventures, Entreé Capital, Caixa Capital Risk, and Bonsai Venture Capital.

Glovo co-founder and CEO Oscar Pierre reportedly told TechCrunch that the company will use the funding to consolidate its presence in its current markets – Spain, Italy and France – and to continue the development of the platform.
