Double Fresh

Amazon has announced today (8 September) that it has expanded the coverage for its AmazonFresh delivery service in London, more than doubling the postcode coverage since the launch in June. The AmazonFresh coverage area now extends to 190 Greater London postcodes and Amazon Prime members within the eligible postcodes can sign up now for a 30-day free trial of AmazonFresh.

After the free trial, AmazonFresh is available to Amazon Prime members for £6.99 per month with “unlimited delivery” for orders above £40.

AmazonFresh offers “fast and flexible delivery”. According to Amazon: “One-hour delivery slots are available from 7am to 11pm, seven days a week, and customers ordering their groceries at lunch can have them delivered in time for dinner.”

“We’ve been delighted with the positive response we’ve had from customers across London with our convenient delivery options, vast selection and low prices regularly cited as reasons for using AmazonFresh,” said Ajay Kavan, Vice President of AmazonFresh.

Amazon has been ramping up its food delivery offerings in London. Just yesterday (7 September), Amazon launched its Restaurants meal delivery service in the UK capital.
