Vente-privee.com is extending its partnership with MetaPack to cover the development of its international delivery strategy. Vente-privee.com has recently ramped up its international expansion with the acquisition of Privalia in Spain and Vente-Exclusive in Belgium, as well as a majority stake in the Swiss site eboutic.ch.

Now, it also looking to widen its range of delivery solutions. The site has expanded its offering with high value-added services and OOH delivery options such as pick-up and drop-off points, in-store collection, as well as plans to implement secure lockers – and Vente-privee.com is looking to MetaPack to help develop these services.

“MetaPack is helping us implement an efficient logistics strategy, meaning that we can focus on our core business. By reducing carrier integration times and simplifying the management and maintenance of delivery flows, MetaPack’s technology allows us, essentially, to optimise our operational efficiency, limit the mobilisation of our resources and accelerate implementation timeframes,” said Sébastien Bellone, Group Transport Director at vente-privee.com.

As the race is on for innovation and quality of service, the ability for retailers to fulfil their delivery promise to their customers is currently a considerable challenge. Offering services which meet consumers’ daily needs, especially on an international level, is a prerequisite.”
