Baker Goodchild invests in new printing equipment

Birmingham-based direct mail fulfilment and print management services provider, Baker Goodchild has invested in a new M1 Colour Inkjet Envelope printer. Baker Goodchild said the new printer will “dramatically improve the direct mail and marketing literature that it produces for customers”.

The M1 can print across a wider variety of paper stocks as it does not use heat to print and is perfect for items that need overprinting.

In a statement sent to Post&Parcel, Baker Goodchild said: “The M1 envelope printer offers exceptional colour print quality at high speed and low cost, making it ideal to use for personalised mailings and variable data printing. It is capable of printing full process colour applications at the rate of 7,500 envelopes per hour. Additionally, envelopes can be printed edge-to edge on a range of paper stocks from 0.1mm to 0.5mm thick, whilst also having the ability to print on to window envelopes.”

This latest equipment investment by Baker Goodchild follows the purchase of a new Buhrs mailing machine and camera matching system in April.
