EC clears Deutsche Post DHL acquisition of UK Mail

The European Commission (EC) has cleared Deutsche Post DHL’s offer to by UK Mail. Deutsche Post DHL and UK Mail announced the EC clearance in a statement issued on Friday (16 December).

As previously reported, Deutsche Post DHL plans to use the acquisition of UK Mail to strengthen the European market position of DHL Parcel, by adding a commercial and operational presence, including pick-up and delivery capabilities in the UK.
