Hellenic Post Office in deal with telecoms firm

Hellenic Post Office has forged an alliance with a new fixed-line telephone company, Tellas SA, owned by the Public Power Corporation, a heavily traded stock on the Athens bourse, and Wind

Within its network, the state post office is offering Tellas’ retail and corporate fixed line phone and internet services, Hellenic said in a statement

The post office has the country’s largest retail network at 1,000 normal outlets and 5,000 booths serving more than one million consumers per week, the statement said.
