AmazonFresh comes to Germany

Amazon has announced that its AmazonFresh fast grocery delivery service is now available in Germany. In a statement issued yesterday (4 May), Amazon said that the service is launching in parts of Berlin and Potsdam.

The AmazonFresh service is available to Amazon Prime members for €9.99 a month, offering unlimited free deliveries for orders with a minimum value of €40. Deliveries are made from Monday through to Saturday, and orders place by noon can be delivered on the same day.

As Post&Parcel reported last week, local sources have indicated that Deutsche Post DHL is providing delivery service to support AmazonFresh.
