GLS subsidiary Der Kurier has broken ground for the expansion plan for its hub in Neuenstein, Germany. The Neuenstein hub currently handles around 1,500 express shipments a day – but this will be increased to 22,000 in the next expansion stage.
The facility’s space will be almost doubled and it will feature new sortation and tracking equipment.
