DPD set to move into new distribution centre

DPD is set to move into its new £12m distribution centre at Vertex Park, in South Gloucestershire. Louise Ferguson, general manager of property at DPD, commented: “We’re excited that our new centre at Vertex Park has been completed and we’re getting ready to move in. We’ll soon be able to start delivering parcels from here which means we will be able to provide an even higher level of service for customers in this region.”

Ferguson added: “State-of-the-art distribution centres like this give us a huge advantage over our competitors in terms of automated efficiency and scale, as well as making sure we have capacity for future growth.”
