Shyp suspending operations outside San Francisco

On demand delivery specialist Shyp has announced that it is suspending its operations in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York so it can “focus on achieving profitability in a single market, the San Francisco Bay Area”. In a statement posted on its blog yesterday (20 July), Shyp CEO Kevin Gibbon said the company will also be “reducing headcount at headquarters”.

Gibbon added: “We believe these steps will allow us to prove our business model and set Shyp up for long-term success.”
