Pall-Ex moves into Spain

UK palletised distribution network Pall-Ex has teamed up with Trans European Transport in Spain to launch its latest European service, Pall-Ex Iberia. The service will cover Spain, Portugal and the Canary and Balearic Islands.
Santiago Vicente, deputy MD of Trans European, said: “We are the largest company to move goods between the UK and Spain, but our customer wanted additional services so we realised the need for a groupage service.”

Alan Cramley, sales and marketing director of Pall-Ex, said the launch marked a further increase in the service the network can offer its customers.

Pall-Ex Scandinavia was launched at the end of last year, covering the Nordic and Baltic states. Services in Germany, France, Benelux and Italy are due to be rolled out during 2003.

The company’s new hub in Leicestershire has increased capacity ready for more international traffic.
