Omniva picks three parcel machine partners

Baltic post and parcel operator Omniva has announced that it has selected three companies from whom it will order its parcel machines in the future. The chosen companies were Cleveron from Estonia, Keba from Austria, and Hivebox from China. The contracts will be concluded with a term of five years.

Omniva said that it will invest more than €20m to expand its parcel machines network in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

According to Ansi Arumeel, Member of the Management Board of Omniva, the company plans to diversify their network with different types of machines and technologies in order to “provide people with a convenient service that is faster and closer to them”.

Arumeel added: “All trends and research in the parcels area show that parcel machines are the preferred way of sending and receiving parcels in the Baltic region. Our task is to make parcel machines as easily accessible as possible.”

Currently, Omniva has 276 parcel machines in more than 120 cities across the Baltic region.
