TNT buys data firm in UK

Delivery company TNT Express Services has bought Archive and Data Storage (ADS), the London-based records management company.

The acquisition strengthens TNT’s position as a market leader in the provision of data management and document storage solutions as used by UK businesses to manage, store and protect their business records.

ADS employees will join TNT’s record management division, a part of TNT’s pounds 120 million Express Specialist Services business, whose clients include Lloyds TSB, Royal Bank of Scotland Group and GlaxoSmithKline.

Bob Black, divisional managing director of TNT Express Specialist Services, said: “ADS is a highly professional organisation.”
