Future Group reportedly eyeing Snapdeal’s logistics arm Vulcan Express

Vulcan Express operates in more than 100 cities.

India-based retailer Future Group is said to be talks to buy Snapdeal’s logistics arm Vulcan Express, according to local sources.

A report published by India’s Economic Times today (3 January) said that Future Group may be looking to pay about about “Rs 50 crore in an all-cash deal” (one crore is 10 million).

Vulcan Express operates in more than 100 cities across India.

Future Group is one of India’s biggest retailers. Its businesses include Big Bazaar, Food Bazaar, Easyday, Foodhall, Planet Sports and Brand Factory.
