Chronopost has bought Groupe ALP and its subsidiaries Delifresh, Freshlog and 360° services.

The Paris-based companies will help Chronopost to build up its capabilities in the field of temperature-controlled deliveries.

Delifresh is involved in the last mile delivery of food products in Ile de France.

Freshlog specializes in warehousing, refrigerated storage and order picking of food products.

360° services is a specialist in urgent medical transportation (medicines, blood products, stem cells and samples, grafts and organs) and hospital and infectious waste.

In a statement issued last week, Martin Piechowski, President of Chronopost, said: “These companies will enable Chronopost to significantly strengthen its offer and expertise in the food and health markets; markets in which we are already present through our subsidiaries Chronopostfood and BioLogistic. “
