DHL wins Asia awards

DHL, the world’s leading express and logistics company, has won the highly coveted Express and Mail Operator of the Year Award for the second year running and also clinched the IT Innovation Award at the Asia Logistics Award Ceremony held recently in Singapore.

It said in a statement that it outperformed other competitors on the strength of its coverage in the region, its unique understanding of the markets and the outstanding quality of its service.

The IT Innovation Award was for DHL’s outstanding work in the development of IT solutions to assist customers in handling their logistics needs and bringing better synergies to its operations in Asia.

DHL Express has invested US$350 million in global IT projects including a US$52 million Asia Pacific Information Centre in Cyberjaya.
