TNT Express launches new road services to Serbia

TNT Express has announced a further expansion to its European Road Network (ERN). They are now offering a new daily service to Belgrade, Serbia which becomes the 32nd country to join the ERN. The route connects the Serbian capital to the other 31 countries and 522 depots in the ERN via major hubs in Vienna and Timisoara.

commenting on the new route, Christian Drenthen, Managing Director, TNT Express Worldwide Networks, said: “Now that the political and economic outlook in Serbia is more positive, the time is right for us to invest in the region and we look forward to offering business-to-business customers later departure times for exports and earlier arrival times for imports. We are the only express delivery company in Europe to operate a multiple hub and spoke road network across 32 countries and this system provides much greater connectivity, speed and reliability than our competitors can offer.”
