Amazon announces new fulfilment centre in Spokane

Amazon has announced plans to open a fulfilment centre in Spokane, which will be its first in Eastern Washington.

The retail giant’s headquarters are, of course, located in Washington State, in Seattle.

In a statement issued on Friday (20 July), Mark Stewart, Amazon’s Vice President of North America Customer Fulfillment, said: “We’re excited to open a new, state-of-the-art fulfillment center in Spokane and to continue innovating in our home state.

“Washington is known for providing great opportunities for jobs and customer experience, and we are grateful to the dedicated local and state officials and teams who came together to support Amazon in .”
