DHL eCommerce teams up with Easyship for same-day delivery in the US

DHL eCommerce has announced a strategic partnership with global cloud-based shipping software company Easyship, enabling e-commerce merchants using the Easyship software platform to offer same-day and next-day shipping to their customers via the DHL Parcel Metro service.

This partnership uses technology to provide enhanced, affordable shipping solutions to small- and medium-sized merchants. This new capability went live December 17 in Los Angeles, New York City, and Chicago for e-commerce merchants, offering affordable on-demand delivery for same-day and next-day shipping.

“By partnering with innovative shipping technologies like Easyship, we can make our services widely available and help businesses meet increasing consumer demands for same-day and next-day delivery. It’s not only about speed; it’s also about bringing quality and accessibility,” says Jorge Lopera, Senior Director, Delivery Concepts, DHL eCommerce Americas.

Historically, it would be cost prohibitive for small- and medium-sized online merchants to offer same-day or next-day shipping delivery options to their shoppers. But the partnership with DHL Parcel Metro connects directly into Easyship’s online platform partners, including BigCommerce, Shopify, and eBay, allowing online merchants to offer best-in-class shipping solutions in a more cost-effective way.

“Our new solution arrives just in time for the holidays, now allowing merchants to extend their holiday shopping season,” says Augustin Ceyrac, Easyship Co-Founder. “We’re excited about this offering, as DHL eCommerce is empowering Easyship’s mission of enabling growth for all businesses!”
