SHIPNEXT to provide a more transparent process for title-transfers

SGS, the global inspection, verification, testing and certification company, entered into a strategic alliance with digital, automated, shipping Marketplace SHIPNEXT  to provide inspection services using a blockchain-based solution for electronic bills of lading and smart freight contracts.

With this collaboration, SHIPNEXT intends to provide a reliable and transparent process for title-transfers, based on an electronic bill of lading, where SGS will participate in the verification and reassurance of the actual quality and quantity of the cargo mentioned in the bill of lading through their electronic signature.
