Bibby Distribution Acquire Winlen Bay

Bibby Distribution Limited has purchased Winlen Bay Limited and renamed this Freight Forwarding company as “Bibby International Logistics” to link the same with the well known ‘Bibby branding’.
The operation based in Cannock, East Midlands works with a team of 30 staff, offering a groupage delivery service into Germany each evening. These deliveries are received at the ONLINE-Systemlogistik hub in Schlitz Germany – the membership alliance which has accepted Bibby Distribution within its membership.

The principle of ONLINE is that, working together, the fifty relatively small partners utilise each other’s services through an impressive hub operation with collections and deliveries effectively carried out all over Europe.

Theo de Pencier, Managing Director for Bibby Distribution commented “The acquisition of Winlen Bay affords Bibby Distribution the opportunity of enhancing our portfolio of services at modest cost, cementing further some of our existing relationships and providing additional selling opportunities to Winlen Bay’s customers. The business will make an immediate positive contribution to the Bibby Route One Pallet Network and swiftly become an additional source of profit in its own right”

Other services include UK collection, consolidation and delivery as well as warehousing and storage facilities.
