DHL launches marketing campaign in Asia-Pacific region

DHL, one of the world’s leading express and logistics companies, has announced a marketing campaign that will run simultaneously across all DHL markets in Asia-Pacific. The campaign is aimed at reinforcing the company’s leading position in the region. The initiative underlines the growing importance of Asia-Pacific in DHL’s global business portfolio. The region is DHL Express’ fastest-growing market to date. It has registered strong, double-digit growth in recent years. International Monetary Fund (IMF) statistics indicate intra-Asian trade has risen steadily — from about 24 per cent of total trade in the early 1980s to 40 per cent — in recent years. DHL was the first international express company to begin operations in Asia-Pacific more than 30 years ago.
