Amazon strengthens its presence in Latin America

Amazon.com has launched its Prime subscription service in Brazil, offering unlimited nationwide free shipping and a maximum 48-hour delivery time in over 90 municipalities.

Brazilian subscribers will also have access to movies, music, and digital books and magazines on the Prime platform, which will cost BRL 9.90/month. The first month of the service is offered free.

Amazon has been present in Brazil since 2012, initially as a bookseller before adding other products.
