Pierre Winand to leave bpost

Pierre Winand, who heads bpost’s Parcels & Logistics activities in North America, will leave bpost at the end of 2019 for family reasons.

Pierre Winand has worked at bpost since 2006, first as Chief Financial Officer and, from 2017, as head of the parcels and logistics activities in North America. He is also CEO of Radial, a US subsidiary of bpost.

Pierre Winand will make a permanent return to Europe.

“It has been my honour to lead bpost’s activities in North America for the last two years,” says Pierre Winand. “In that time, the whole team worked together to right the ship and steer it toward more solid ground. While there is much left to do, the direction is set, the team is in place and we are clearly seeing the fruits of our labour. It is now with confidence that I will place the future success of Radial back in the capable hands of Radial’s Executive Leadership Team.”

“Pierre has set Radial on the right course as a driver of growth for bpost with great passion and energy,” says Koen Van Gerven. “While we regret his decision to leave, we fully understand the reasons behind it. Thank you for everything and we wish you every success in your future endeavours, Pierre.”
