Wells to lead TNT UK postal assault
Circular Distributors (CD) managing director Nick Wells has been named chief executive.
The move effectively frees him up to focus on leading sister company TNT Mail UK’s assault on the deregulated postal market. Wells is also chief executive of TNT Mail.
Charles Neilson will replace Wells as CD managing director, with a remit to ensure the firm continues its aggressive growth.
Neilson was previously responsible for CD’s targeting and technical planning, as well as IT and human resources. Prior to this, he worked at Claritas on product development, as well as with Infolink and Acxiom.
Wells says: “Charles leads a team that is committed to customer service and his appointment will allow us to capitalise upon the growth we are seeing in door-to-door marketing spend by advertisers.”
CD delivers around 3 billion items a year and has a turnover in excess of GBP50m.
The firm was bought by TNT parent TPG in 2001
